Have you ever thought about making a little extra money?
If the answer is 'no', you are a very lucky person! As the economy dips into another recession, everything seems more expensive, and the pay check never quite lasts to the end of the month. Does this sound familiar?
Network marketing can fit round your life with ease, if that is what you need. You may love your chosen career, it just doesn't pay enough anymore.
As the title suggests, we all do network marketing without realising it. Let me give you a couple of examples: You discover a great litle shop that sells the most beautiful things and you know that your friends will love it, so the next time you speak to them you tell them about the lovely picture you saw that would look perfect in their hall. They go to the shop, see the picture, love it, buy it, and another two. The shop owner is delighted, your friend mentions that you told her about the shop - the shop keeper is delighted, she has made a sale. Does she give you a percentage of that sale? Of course not! But you unwittingly marketed her shop and products for nothing!
You take the family to see a movie, and buy sweets, icecream and popcorn. You all have a good time and enjoy the film, and tell your friends that they really should see it, the kids update their facebook status, and all their friends see that the film is worth watching. So many of them will go to the cinema to see it, and buy their popcorn, icecream, and sweets, the owners of the cinema and the distributor of the movie are happy, but do they give you some remuneration for all your hard work?
You can see where this is going, can't you?
What would be so difficult about getting paid to do the same thing? If only life was that easy!
When you recommended the picture from the shop, you believed that the product was perfect for your friend......the secret is to keep it genuine! In order to do that, you need to have perfect confidence that your product is right for the customer, and not try to flog them a pig-in-a-poke to meet your targets. It may not be obvious, but if you look after a customer, they are more likely to refer you to their friends!
Like everything else in life, you will get out what you put in to network marketing. It can be loads of fun, and if you enjoy meeting new people, it's definitely for you. Choosing which product to sell will make a huge difference - big names like Avon and Tupperware have a proven track record - but is the market saturated with their products? You certainly don't want a garage full of cleaning products that no one wants! Use the product/service yourself - you would be surprised how many distributors don't - how can you recommend it if you don't use it?
After you start in the business, the hard work begins, building customer numbers and even a team of your own........
